Pop Culture Awesomeness: Three Wolf Moon
By now you’re probably all familiar with the pictured shirt, dubbed “Three Wolf Moon”. It’s received almost 2000 reviews on Amazon (many of them hilarious). Proving just how awesome the internet is, LA Weekly reports that coming soon we will be treated to Three Wolf Moon: The Book. Seriously. The company that makes the shirts is looking to publish this book, and juding by chapter titles (“The Wolf Shirt and Baldness,” “The Wolf Shirt and Massage Therapy” and “The Wolf Shirt and Your Love Life”) it looks to be in the same vein as the reviews on Amazon. I’ll be picking up the book since I (proudly yet ironically) own the shirt. While I was on a family trip in New York I wandered into a store that just happened to be selling the shirt, and seizing the opportunity I purchased it. The best part is that there were actually other people in the store buying Three Wolf Moon and other cheesy animal/dragon shirts unironically. But Three Wolf Moon just keeps getting bigger… the article also reports that Three Wolf Moon will feature in an upcoming episode of The Office. Businesses are taking note: “…Amazon talked about “Three Wolf Moon” for over three minutes (!) at their last 30 minute shareholders meeting.” We truly must be living in the best of all possible worlds when Three Wolf Moon is 10% of the discussion at a shareholders meeting for a huge company.
